Silvia Camporesi (Forlì, 1973) graduated in Philosophy and is currently living and working in Forlì, Italy.
Since 2003, her work has been exposed in several solo exhibitions in Italy, Europe and North America: Dance dance dance at MAR, Ravenna in 2007; La Terza Venezia at the Galleria Photographica Fine Art of Lugano in 2011; Souvenir Universo, Z20 Gallery, Rome, 2013; Terrestrial clues at the Istituto italiano di cultura, Pechino in 2006; À perte de vue, Chambre Blanche, Quebec (CAN) in 2011; 2112, Saint James Cavalier, Valletta (Malta) in 2013. She took part in several group exhibitions, amongst which are: Italian camera, Isola di San Servolo, Venezia in 2005; Immagini a contatto, Fotomuseo G. Panini, Modena nel 2006; Confini at the PAC, Ferrara in 2007; Con gli occhi, con la testa, col cuore at the Mart, Rovereto in 2012. In 2007 Camporesi won the prestigious Premio Celeste for photography. She was chosen as finalist for the Talent prize in 2008 and Premio Terna in 2010. The artist won the Francesco Fabbri Prize for photography in 2013.
