Victor Spiteri was born in August 1945 at Victoria, Gozo. He received his artistic training from the Malta Government School of Art, studying drawing and modelling, the Technical Institute, Paola and the Trade School, Mosta, studying ceramics. Spiteri was an art teacher within the Education Department for over 20 years. 

He took part in various personal and collective exhibitions, both locally and abroad. He has also taken part in group painting with other artists in Switzerland and Egypt.

Spiteri’s art involves constant experimentation with innovatory techniques and materials.
